  My husband passed away and I went to change the vehicle into my own name (it was jointly owned by my husband and myself). These people insisted that the executors of his will had to make the change. It was obvious from ICBC's website that this was incorrect, and all I needed was the death certificate. They argued with me that they still needed the executor to sign. I got my documents back, and went elsewhere and it was completed painlessly. It was a horrible experience having just gone through a devastating loss. I will never go there again.

  Further to this, I wrote to the district manager, and received a letter back apologizing profusely and saying that the incident had been reviewed with the branch manager as well as a review of ICBC's policy and procedures.

  After waiting a long time just to get change, teller said she couldn't help me because I didn't have an account at this credit union. I will never sign up here, even though I was thinking about it. Bad costumer service.
