  I have only ever dealt with Hal James at Koster and have always found him, and his work very good. He has gone above and beyond for me on small things, explains things well and does great work. Recently he fixed a problem with my hot water tank that even the plumber didn't think of. Highly recommend Hal as your go to guy for anything electrical. He is a true asset to the company!

  We highly recommend avoiding this company. He does not honour original agreements, is rude and disrespectful, often shows up hours late or not at all, and threatens you in the event you disagree with his work or billing.

  Our family needed the Koster team on short notice, for a barrage of electrical changes and upgrades due to a condo renovation we were doing. Koster Electric have us great suggestions, all of which we used and still serve us well.

  Anyone who has done a CONDO renovation knows there is mound of paperwork and a whole lot of restrictions on working hours and noise levels etc. The Management Company and neighbours appreciated the respect shown by Koster' s workers - made our life easy.

  With all the discrepancies in the quoting process, we had requested an itemized invoice which Jim refused to provide. Not only is he over charging us for work completed, but we are also being charged for work that we did ourselves, as he did NOT complete it. We have tried to send many reasonable emails to get this resolved, only to receive back extremely rude, derogatory, insulting emails in return.

  We are extremely disappointed with the service provided by Koster Electric. We had agreed on a quote, being very clear about our maximum budget. Not only was this not honoured, but we were charged much more on top of that.

  We found Jim's work to be very poor - with plug ins installed at all different heights and incorrect switches, not to mention having to have him come in several times to fix errors he made. He was always very rude, aggressive and also yelled at my wife about payment, despite the fact that we had just made a payment.
