  Been meaning to leave this for a while. Was on the island visiting family and my SUV was making a terrible racket under the hood. On the advice of a friend, I called Cam at Dragon's Auto for some help. He couldnt get to me till the next day but in all fairness it was 3pm already when I called. He managed to fix the problem with out any parts and only charged me a small fee. I would recommend Dragons to anyone looking for auto repairs in Nanaimo, BC.

  Cam is honest, trustworthy and upfront. He lets you know what you need done, what the parts are worth and gives an estimate on the spot. He readily answers your questions about what needs to be done and how things work.

  Thought Cam was great when I left my car here to be checked.. I’m not sure he had time because he told me the brakes were good although now a month later they have failed nearly causing a huge accident .. could be a mistake but the mechanic here has said it was metal scraping on metal, I think that would have been clear a month ago.

  My engine was running really rough, and it felt as though the car would die in the middle of an intersection - another mechanic that I had come from just before stopping in at Dragon's Auto was not able to solve this.

  When in desperation, I came to Dagon's Auto, within 15 minutes Cam solved the problem and made it possible to drive with confidence for the next few days until I was able to get into his shop for other needed work.

  Cam was really awesome, I came over from the mainland to get a vehicle inspected and he was very accommodating with my schedule (coming on the ferry etc.). He was thorough and pretty quick too and he took the time to explain everything he saw to my wife and I. I definitely recommend this shop!
