    Met my wife there.....proposed to her there....we got married there. Very cool place. Is also awesome stormy as well.

    Neck Point Park in Nanaimo is one of the nicest parks in the region. There are plenty of trails, waterfront landscapes and breathtaking panoramas to be seen. It is located off of Hammond Bay Road, just a few minutes away from the equally beautiful Piper's Lagoon Park and both parks can be easily traversed in one day. There is plenty of water, wind and sun buffed driftwood on the inner beaches, large and small, if you are into driftwood sculptures. It is just a nice place to relax and unwind.

    Beautiful park by the water (strait of Georgia) good walking or jogging trail. Nice views, but it id very cold in winters which makes difficult to do any recreational activities here. Can see seals once in a while. During summer it's an awesome place to relax, breathe fresh oxygen and keep oneself fit.
