  On two occasions now my friend and I have been helped by Shea. I just want to say I have never met a more pleasant, patient and fun person to assist us in our endless search for things we never found. Thank you Shea! You have made the time following us around very enjoyable.

  My boyfriend and I came here looking for something in particular and after we had a hard time finding it we asked an employee for help locating it. The gentleman went down the aisle, pointed at product and then he proceeded to looked at us like we were stupid, rolled his eyes and then walked away.

  I ordered a $7,000 item. The charge showed up on my card but Home Depot completely botched the shipping process. For some reason they have not authorized the item to be shipped despite full payment. I tried half a dozen times to contact customer service waiting on hold for almost an hour sometimes. I have been repeatedly told that nobody could help me with why my order and why it has not shipped yet. It's now 2 weeks after ordering and I still have no clue what is going on and I will have to cancel arrangements I made with installers. Unbelievable!

  The staff down in the lumber section are generally very knowledgeable and helpful. For the rest of the store, I often find myself getting sent on wild goose chases as someone suggests: "Try Aisle 21 or 22"... and the next person says "look in seasonal"... and Seasonal tells me "oh, that's in Aisle 29". After checking Aisle 29 and finding nothing but insulation, I headed out the door for Home Hardware.

  We went in to Home Depot in Nanaimo today to buy a washer/dryer and a new toilet. The washer/dryer purchase went well, thank you to Victor, 5 stars to you. We then went and picked out a toilet and stood there for over an hour while they tried unsuccessfully to enter the order into their system. Finally they said they had it...they didn't. An hour and a half later I was still standing at customer service fuming...cancelled the order...went to Lowe's, in and out in ten minutes with delivery and installation all set up. Really???
