  I've been going to Karly for years now - wonderful person, amazing stylist. Really comfortable vibe for such a highly regarded, accomplished salon. Feels good when you're in there.

  Sooo... I hate doing this. But I just moved to Nanaimo and take pride in my hair most of the time. I let it grow out for about 4 months while living here to shop around for a new stylist. I read the reviews on here and decided to try it out. When I called I asked for an experienced stylist. At least 5-7 years, and someone who specialized in men’s hair. I also expressed my hair was on the long side and I was going to be cutting it very short so I would need at least an hour to an hour an a half. I was recommended to Kristen. She was alright. She didn’t manager her time well, let me sit in her chair for 10 min while speaking to her next client, didn’t recommend a shampoo like I asked her, didn’t style my hair because she ran out of time. I walked out of the salon with my hat on. And will need to book another appointment else where to get it fixed. I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

  Karly has been cutting my hair for almost five years now - I highly recommend her! In addition to always leaving the salon feeling like I've had the best haircut of my life, she is very good at understanding what I want, even when I can't articulate what I am looking for. Karly is precise every step of the way: from the clean cut to the voluminous blowouts. She is truly great at what she does! In addition, the salon itself is very modern, clean and inviting. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. This salon is definitely a gem!

  The cutting room is my happy place! Karly dyes my hair and Kandice does my cut. I would reccomended them to anyone! They listen to my wants and ideas and I always come out of the salon with the perfect style. I dont let anyone else touch my hair! The whole staff their is always pleasant to deal with and their product knowledge is on point. :)

  LOVE how Edwin cut my hair today. I'll be back in a week to have colour done by Stacey but even with today's nasty roots showing, I'm looking gorgeous & feeling young in my new "do." Wanna guess my age?! I dare you.
