  Zoë did an amazing job on giving me a beautiful blonde baylayage. My hair is not the easiest to make a blonde (it pulls tons of gold tones). She listened carefully to what I wanted and worked amazingly with my natural curls to cut it in a way that would work well for me at home. I highly recommend visiting her at xpose. She's definitely one of the best at blondes in Nanaimo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  Zoe told me she would not return the money but promised that she would get me back in asap and only be paying for the product used. After 2 weeks of unanswered messages she informed me she was 'too busy' and wasn't able to get me in for another near 2 months.

  I think it is absolutely appalling that a salon thinks it's acceptable to cancel someone's appointment an HOUR before it's supposed to take place. If your previous appointment runs late, then I can MAYBE understand asking your next appointment to wait an extra hour but to completely cancel that appointment for the day and then say "i have to be out of here at 5" is extremely unprofessional. If you made the mistake of overbooking then you should make it right for your client and stay an extra freaking 15 min.

  I went in for a lightening session ($200), and ended up with grey hair. She had apologized for over toning it and did a clarifying shampoo which semi fixed the problem. But she used two different developers, leaving the back of my head orange and the front white. After very patiently waiting for a response, she had informed me there is nothing she was able to do. I then asked for a portion of my money back as I would need to see a new hairdresser to fix my patchy hair.

  Don't always believe what you see on instagram. And if you can avoid this place, i'd highly suggest doing so!

  My wife recently had an appointment with Rachel, very nice and friendly when we first arrived. My wife tried to explain how she would like her hair done and they started to get to work on it, but Rachel literally stopped every two minutes to text on her phone. My wife finally said after 45 min that she is most unprofessional and that she would not return again, and to please just finish her already (it was only a trim and being styled). Rachel become very rude and said we can just leave, without even finishing her hair. She demanded we still pay for her rude unfinished service. It's unbelievable that this place is in business.
